Miles Bridges 2019-2020 Player Outlook
5 years agoCharlotte Hornets small forward Miles Bridges looks to build upon his up and down rookie campaign. Bridges for the season averaged 7.5 points and four rebounds a game. The last 13 games of the season as the Hornets were battling for a playoff spot, Bridges was starting to find his groove. In that span, Bridges averaged 11.7 points, 6.1 boards, and 2.9 assists. Also during that period, Bridges was getting 32.2 minutes a game shooting 57.3 percent from the field. The Hornets in the off-season lost team leader point guard Kemba Walker and key contributor shooting guard Jeremy Lamb both to free agency. With both of those players leaving the Hornets will be relying on Bridges more which should mean even more opportunities for him to succeed. The Hornets are expected to not far very well from a winning perspective which will further lead to them giving the younger players more chances. This should mean that Bridges will be a bigger focal point. For fantasy players in season-long leagues, this should make Bridges an intriguing late-round draft pick.
