Colorado Avalanche forward Mikko Rantanen signed a six-year contract worth $55.5 million, ending his holdout before it could reach into the season. Rantanen was the last of the big holdouts to sign, securing a contract that falls between the deals signed by fellow restricted free agents Winnipeg's Kyle Connor and Toronto's Mitchell Marner. Rantanen racked up more than 50 assists and 80 points for the second straight season last year, further cementing his position as a stud in all formats. His availability for the season opener remains up in the air though, as his immigration paperwork has not completed processing yet.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
