Utah Hockey Club defenseman Mikhail Sergachev (upper body) will not play against St. Louis on Saturday. An upper-body injury will keep Sergachev out of action for the first time this season. The 2024-25 campaign has been a big one for Sergachev, who is just outside the top 10 on the defensemen scoring list. He has tallied 30 points (eight goals, 22 assists) in 44 appearances. Utah has also received a big effort from Sergachev without the puck, as the Russian blue-liner ranks second on the team with 81 blocks. John Marino will get an increase in minutes on Saturday, moving to the first defensive pairing. He will also join the second power-play unit, with Michael Kesselring replacing Sergachev on the top unit.--Taavi Pailk
