Mike Williams Makes Incredible Catch Against Broncos
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams was expected to have to shoulder a lot of the outside load on Sunday since Chris Harris Jr. would be shadowing Keenan Allen, but nobody expected Williams to be as impressive as he actually was. Williams caught five passes for 117 yards, and though he still didn't find the end zone, he made some spectacular plays. The team's first touchdown was set up by Williams getting so wide open that when Philip Rivers underthrew him by a huge amount, he still had time to stop, come back, catch the ball, and tack on another 12 yards before anyone touched him. He would later go one to make an unbelievable one-handed catch on 4th-and-11 on the team's final drive even though he had a receiver laying on him while he was doing it. Williams is clearly a stud, and he should be one of the most exciting receivers in the league for years to come.
