Mike Evans Off the Injury Report, Low-End WR1 vs. the Panthers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (collarbone) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's Week 16 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. Evans returned last week after missing six games due to a broken collarbone. The veteran wideout hauled in six of his 12 targets for 132 yards in the loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Evans only played 55 percent of the offensive snaps and still almost produced top-10 WR value. The 32-year-old will now head into a decent matchup against the Panthers in Week 16. Carolina is ranked in the middle of the pack in terms of fantasy points allowed to wideouts this season. The Bucs will look to get Evans involved in Week 16 after seeing double-digit targets last week. Fantasy managers should be able to count on Evans as a WR1 as he comes in as RotoBaller's WR8 for this weekend. The veteran wideout figures to see more of the field this week and is a must-start for the fantasy playoffs after being eased into action last Thursday.
