Mike Evans 2020 Outlook: Step Back In 2020?
5 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is heading into the 2020 season coming off of a great 2019 season. If it hadn't been cut short by an injury, he likely would have finished inside the top five at his position, considering he was fifth on the year in points per game. However, for 2020, we could see him take a slight step back. New quarterback Tom Brady doesn't have quite the arm strength that he experienced last season with quarterback Jameis Winston. Evans had over 1800 air yards last season, which was over 300 more than the top option for the New England Patriots. Expect Evans to potentially finish as a WR1, as long as he remains fully healthy.
