Mike Davis Shines Again In Limited Carries
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Mike Davis was at it again on Sunday as he powered through the Rams defense like Swiss cheese. Davis only carried the ball 12 times as Chris Carson took the lead back duties, but he tallied 68 yards and a touchdown in the limited action. He also told reporters after the game that he was pumped for Carson's performance and loved working with him as a tandem where he could come in when Carson was tired and vice versa. Davis is a 25-year-old former 49er who was thought to be nothing more than depth, but Seattle's new two-headed monster is a huge breath of fresh air that can keep them in games like this where they were supposed to be rolled. Expect to see more of both running backs moving forward.
