Calgary Flames center Mikael Backlund scored twice and added an assist during a 4-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Friday night. Backlund has recorded a point in three straight games. The Swedish center has five goals, 11 assists, and a plus-12 rating through 26 games this season. Backlund has played primarily on the second line alongside Matthew Tkachuk and Sam Bennett.
