Calgary Flames center Mikael Backlund (upper body) is set to miss a sixth consecutive game on Tuesday against the Seattle Kraken. The Flames captain has resumed skating, but Tuesday's game comes too soon for him to be ready to return to the lineup. Backlund's next opportunity to return will be on Thursday when the Dallas Stars come to town. Yegor Sharangovich has operated as the third-line center during Backlund's absence.
