New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas should see plenty of targets in a game against the Rams that could be a shootout in Week 9. Thomas' production has cooled off after a three-game start to the season that produced 38 receptions, 398 yards and four touchdowns. But he still is the number one option in the passing game for quarterback Drew Brees and will go up against a Rams defense that is allowing the eighth fewest fantasy points to wide receivers. Opposing pass-catchers have struggled to put up the yards against the Rams but opponents have caught 11 touchdowns against them through eight games. Los Angeles has also allowed 10 different receivers to score 10 or more fantasy points against them over their last six games.
