Michael Beasley Goes for a Team-High 22 Points in Loss
7 years agoNew York Knicks forward Michael Beasley started on Monday against the Sixers and gave his owners some solid scoring in his team-high 39 minutes, finishing with a team-best 22 points, including two triples, shooting 9-for-17 from the field in the losing effort. Beasley was fairly productive on the boards as well, pulling down five rebounds in the contest, while chipping in two assists and two blocks on the other side of the court. Unfortunately for owners, he was responsible for another team high, which happened to be turnovers, piling up four miscues in Philadelphia. Beasley has made a strong case for himself to be the Knicks No. 1 scoring option going forward and obviously needs to be owned everywhere. Look for B-Easy to show Washington some love on Wednesday as the Knicks travel to D.C. to do battle with the Wizards on Valentines Day.
