Max Scherzer To Start Game 3 Of The World Series
Texas Rangers starting pitcher Max Scherzer will be third in line to take the bump against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Scherzer will start the first game in Arizona. The 39-year-old struggled in two starts of the ALCS against the Houston Astros. It had been more than a month between appearances for Scherzer, so rust could have contributed to some of his struggles. He also said he's had a cut on his thumb that hindered his performance. With all being said, Scherzer is on the shortlist of competitors you'd want to start a pivotal Game 3 of the World Series for you.
