6/5:Washington Nationals starting pitcher Max Scherzer notched the third immaculate inning in Nationals history in the sixth inning of his outing against Tampa Bay on Tuesday night. He threw nine pitches for nine strikes and struck out all three batters he faced. It was only the second time this season a pitcher had thrown an immaculate inning. Entering Tuesday's contest, Scherzer was 9-1 with a 1.92 ERA and 120 strikeouts. He's the best pitcher in the game.--Brendan Kennealy - RotoBaller
