Max Fried Set For MRI On Hamstring
Max Fried (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury while running the bases in the fourth inning of Tuesday's game against the Miami Marlins. He is scheduled to have an MRI on his hamstring on Wednesday. It was a dreadful outing for Fried on Tuesday apart from the injury. He pitched four innings and allowed nine hits, two walks and eight runs (seven earned) while striking out three. It was his second-straight rough outing. He now has an 11.45 ERA and 2.55 WHIP on the year. We should hear about the results of the MRI later today. Stay tuned for updates.
