6 months agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried (finger) left the game early on Monday against the Brewers with a finger blister. He came out before the blister could get worse, but he'll be evaluated again on Tuesday to see if he can make his next start. Fried had given up three hits and no runs while walking two and fanning five in his five innings against the tough Brewers on Monday night, so that's the good news. It doesn't sound like the finger issue is too serious, so he has a chance at making his next start. The young lefty sports a useful 4.08 ERA with 8.86 K/9 in 103 2/3 innings over 19 starts in 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
