1 year agoBuffalo Sabres defenseman Mattias Samuelsson (upper body) is a game-time decision for Monday's matchup against the Rangers. He was forced to exit Saturday's clash with New Jersey early after taking a stick to the face. However, Samuelsson looks to be on a comeback trail, as he skated Monday morning, which is a good sign regarding his availability. The defensive-minded blue-liner gives a good balance to the Sabres' first defensive pairing, which also includes Rasmus Dahlin. Samuelsson has only three points (one goal, two assists) in 18 games this season, but he's been doing plenty of dirty work, amassing 41 hits and 37 blocks.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
