Matti Schmid Seeks To Continue Sunday Momentum
2 months agoMatti Schmid looked out of the Black Desert Championship after three rounds. The young German golfer was a long ways from the front of the leaderboard. However, Schmid finished with a torrid nine strokes under par on Sunday. That vaulted him into the Top 5. Only Lucas Glover could boast the same score during that final round. Now, Schmid has a chance to seize that momentum at the Shriners Children's Open. The TPC at Summerlin (Las Vegas) is a 7,255 yard, Par-71. If the German can make birdies like he did on Sunday, he can get into that -20 to -24 range needed to win. Schmid is cheaper from a DFS point of view as well.
