2 months agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford delivered a modest performance in the team's 20-15 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7. Stafford completed 14 of 23 passes for 154 yards, with no touchdowns and one interception, while taking one sack. The Rams' offense relied on the ground game, scoring two rushing touchdowns, and the defense added a touchdown with a sack-fumble recovery on Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew II. Playing without star wide receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle), who was questionable but ultimately did not play, Stafford struggled to ignite the passing attack. Head coach Sean McVay mentioned after the game that he expects Kupp to play in the upcoming Thursday night matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
