Matthew Stafford Has Fantasy Potential Against The Raiders In Week 7
2 months agoLos Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has a chance to bounce back into fantasy relevancy in a plus matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders after a Week 6 bye. So far, playing most of the season without star wideouts Puka Nacua (knee) and Cooper Kupp (ankle), Stafford's numbers have been among the worst of all quarterbacks. The 36-year-old currently ranks as the 28th fantasy quarterback, averaging just 10.4 points per game. However, this could change with a favorable matchup against the Raiders, whose defense ranks 25th against quarterbacks. Kupp's potential return would also boost Stafford's output, but the star wideout will be a game-time decision. Fantasy managers should view Stafford as a low-end QB2 this week and as more of an option in superflex leagues, with the upside for more production if Kupp is active.
