1 year agoMatthew NeSmith is rarely worried about his iron play when he enters an event. NeSmith's approach play is the best part of his game, but last week was uncharacteristically bad. NeSmith lost nearly two strokes despite hitting the fairway very often. That's unlikely to happen again this week if his off-the-tee numbers remain solid. The question is whether or not he hit enough putts to make the weekend. NeSmith made the cut despite struggling with ball striking last year, so he should finish inside the cut again.--Rob Rose
