2 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Matt Wisler, who was pitching in place of the injured Anibal Sanchez, came into a tough situation -- he was facing a Mets team that was still giddy over their comeback win on Wednesday night. It didn't matter, as the 25-year-old righty looked nothing like the pitcher who has a sub-.500 record in the majors with an ERA over 5.00. He struck out eight on Thursday night and gave up a run over seven innings. The rotation may be in a bit of flux when Luiz Gohara joins the picture, too, but Wisler can be proud, for one night at least. He should get at least one more start.--Michael Griffin - RotoBaller
