Matt Tabor Promoted To Triple-A
7 months agoSeattle Mariners starting pitching prospect Matt Tabor was promoted to Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday. Tabor underwent surgery to remove blood clots in 2022 and Tommy John surgery in 2023, which has sidelined him for the better part of almost three seasons. He pitched just three ⅓ innings in the Rookie League this spring before getting the call to join Triple-A. The 25-year-old's last full season was in 2021 where he posted a 5.87 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 39:96 BB:K ratio across High, Double, and Triple-A. The right-hander will hope to settle in at Triple-A this summer after struggling in 2021 with an 11.13 ERA across 32 ⅓ innings. The former third-round pick should remain on all waiver wires but could become an interesting name in dynasty leagues if he can perform well at Triple-A after his three-year absence.
