Matt Breida 2020 Outlook: Lightning and Thunder
5 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Matt Breida left a crowded running back situation and now finds himself with a much more defined role in Miami. Breida and Jordan Howard will share significant touches, with Howard likely operating as the early down banger and Breida handling passing downs and the hurry up offense. Breida has always been impressive when on the field, but he is rarely 100% healthy. He plays through tons of nicks and bumps, but at times it limits his explosiveness and his potentially elite speed. If Breida can stay healthy and the Dolphins offense improves as it is expected to, Breida could end up returning legitimate flex value in 2020, especially in PPR formats.
