Winnipeg Jets forward Mark Scheifele will remain out of the lineup when his team takes on the Toronto Maple Leafs in the second half of a home-and-home Saturday following a 1-0 overtime loss in Toronto on Wednesday. The star pivot hasn't appeared since suffering a lower-body injury in a Jan. 11 come-from-behind win over the Chicago Blackhawks. Nonetheless, it's been another productive season for the veteran who has tallied 14 goals and 41 points across 41 games. His goal-scoring has tailed off after scoring 42 times last season but his shooting rate has predictably dropped from 20.4% last season to 14.9% this season. Jets captain Adam Lowry has taken reps on the top line and top power-play unit in Scheifele's absence but Vladislav Namestnikov could also see top-line minutes as well.--Brenton Kemp
