Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Mark Giordano is planning to continue his playing career. "Mark has made the decision that he's playing for a few more years," said Giordano's agent, Rich Winter, to Kevin McGran of the Toronto Star. "He feels very confident. He's been talking to a lot of people who tell him: Don't quit until they make you." Giordano was the oldest player in the NHL this season, having turned 40 in early October. Playing out the final season of a two-year, $1.6 million contract, the veteran contributed three goals and six assists in 46 games while registering 86 blocks and 51 hits.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
