Marcus Davenport Unlikely to Play in Week 3
Detroit Lions defensive end Marcus Davenport (chest) is unlikely to play in Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens, according to Lions head coach Dan Campbell. Davenport suffered a chest injury during Detroit's Week 2 win over the Chicago Bears. Injuries have been a consistent theme of Davenport's career, as he's played in just eight games since the start of 2023. Still, the 29-year-old is a big part of Detroit's defense as the starter opposite star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson.
