8 months agoMilwaukee Brewers catcher Manny Pina made a rare offensive contribution Wednesday versus the Reds. He would provide a three-run homer to add three more insurance runs. The three runs would finish the scoring in a 7-0 victory. Pina carries a .249 batting average with nine HR, 37 runs scored and 26 RBI on the season. His stats do not provide much fantasy value outside of very deep one-catcher formats (such as NL-only) or at least moderately deep two-catcher leagues. If Pina finds a starting job in the future where he gets a significant increase in plate appearances, his power potential could make him a potential flier in some leagues.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller
