8/6:Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Mallex Smith has flown under the radar for much of the season. On Sunday, he would record four more hits and steal another base. Smith has very little power as he has only a single HR and 26 RBI on the season. Smith's value comes from the steals this season as he is now up to 23 for the season. His .299 batting average is very good and holds up even better against the later-round speed guys some people relied on when planning their team. He is not much of a shallow league option but plenty of leagues where he should be owned.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller
