Malik Nabers Faces Cowboys "Zone" Defense in Week 2
Malik Nabers (back) has been cleared for Week 2's divisional matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Nabers saw elite volume in the opener, drawing 12 targets, but managed just five catches for 71 yards against Washington. Dallas, now under defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, played zone coverage on more than 95% of snaps in Week 1 and successfully bottled up A.J. Brown. That said, Nabers was dominant against zone looks in college and graded as the top rookie receiver versus zone coverage in 2024. If the Giants' offensive line can give Russell Wilson time, Nabers has a clear path to WR1 production this week.
