10 months agoCharlotte Hornets shooting guard Malik Monk started on the bench, but still played 34 minutes on Wednesday against the Bucks. Like in preseason Monk had the green light to shoot, putting up 16 shots, including eight from deep. He finished the night with 18 points, while also grabbing four boards, dishing two, blocking two, and grabbing one steal. It was a surprise to see Monk get so many minutes in the opener, but that could be due to Jeremy Lamb struggling to shoot the ball. As long as Monk makes the most of his time on the floor, he should see his minutes increase each week.--Houston Parker - RotoBaller
