Malcolm Brogdon Cleared To Return For Friday’s Game
Malcolm Brogdon (hamstring) has been given the green light to get back into action for Friday's contest against the Pelicans. His return comes at a vital time, with Marcus Smart (ankle) ruled out. Brogdon had missed the previous four contests due to a tight right hamstring but he can be expected to step right back into a vital role for Boston, although it's unclear if he will slide into the starting five or stick with his familiar sixth man role. Through 11 games, Brogdon has played a career-low 23 minutes, which has caused his overall production to slide even as Boston has averaged a league-best 120.4 points per game.
