8 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco will remain in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Miami Marlins. The 26-year-old infielder was starting to become a bench player after slumping with the bat through the first few months of the season. However, Franco has come alive with the bat over the last week. He's hitting .400 with three home runs and seven RBI in his last 20 at-bats. Franco will bat eighth and play third base versus righty Jordan Yamamoto on Saturday. Franco is going to be hard to overlook due to his hot bat, but Yamamoto has a 0.95 ERA this season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
