Anaheim Ducks goaltender Lukas Dostal stopped 35 of the 37 shots he faced en route to defeating the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday evening. The Ducks were heavily outshot in this contest, but Dostal was able to lead the way. Dostal allowed both of his goals in the third period, one of which was a power-play goal by Andrei Svechnikov. This was a much-needed bounce-back showing for the young netminder, as he lost his previous two starts and surrendered nine goals over that span. Overall, the 24-year-old has posted an 11-12-3 record across 26 games with a 2.89 GAA and a .910% SV. Dostal will look to extend his winning streak against the Washington Capitals on Tuesday evening.--Andy Smith
