Luis Severino Picks Up Sixth Win On Wednesday
5 months agoNew York Mets right-hander Luis Severino turned in a quality start in his team's 6-2 win over the Washington Nationals on Wednesday. Severino allowed two runs on four hits over 6 1/3 innings while striking out four and walking three to pick up the win. While the three walks weren't great to see, Severino still bounced back from a rough outing that saw him allow seven runs in his previous start. Severino heads into the All-Star break with a 6-3 record, 3.78 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 81 strikeouts over 109 2/3 innings of work. Severino has been a reliable fantasy starting pitcher this season, even though his strikeout numbers are down from previous seasons.
