Ludvig Aberg Debuts At The Open Championship
5 months agoLudvig Aberg finished tied for fourth at last week's Genesis Scottish Open. Aberg was leading by two strokes heading into the final round on Sunday, but he slipped down the leaderboard after posting a disappointing 73. Despite stumbling on Sunday, Aberg has been in excellent form this season with two top-five, one top-10, and one top-15 finish in his last six tournaments. Aberg will look to put last week's final round behind him as he prepares to tee it up at Royal Troon for his debut at The Open Championship. It's worth mentioning that Aberg ranks in the 92nd percentile in greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway over the past 12 months. This is significant because there are 101 bunkers spread throughout Royal Troon, and any wayward shots could be costly for golfers. Despite being a debutant at The Open Championship, Aberg's excellent form suggests he could be a solid addition to DFS lineups this week.
