Detroit Red Wings left wing Lucas Raymond is looking forward to facing higher expectations in 2023-24. "Last season, I think we took a step as a team, moved in the right direction, and coming into this season we're taking an even bigger step," Raymond told NHL.com. "Expectations are getting higher for the team but also for myself, which is a lot of fun." The Red Wings reached 80 points for the first time in seven seasons last term and will definitely want to improve further after bringing in some key additions over the summer. A better team in overall quality should help Raymond to produce a bounce-back campaign. The 21-year-old was in a sophomore slump for most of 2022-23, settling for 45 points (17 goals, 28 assists) in 74 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
