Washington Capitals goaltender Logan Thompson will start Sunday's matchup against the Utah Hockey Club. The 27-year-old will look to match his career-high with a 25th victory of the season. Thompson has posted a record of 24-2-4 across previous 30 appearances in 2024-25, allowing 2.18 goals with a .923 save percentage and three shutouts. He will enter Sunday's tilt with a 12-0-2 run. Thompson has been nearly unbeatable for eight weeks and is expected to add another victory to his tally against Utah, as the bookmakers have made Washington a -189 favorite for the clash.--Taavi Pailk
