Logan Stankoven Nets Two Goals In Game 1 Victory
Carolina Hurricanes forward Logan Stankoven led the offense with two goals in Sunday's 4-1 win against the New Jersey Devils. The 22-year-old was on target twice in the second period, completing his multi-goal game with a power-play marker. Stankoven, who registered four shots on goal, logged 14:53 of ice time as a member of the third line and now has 10 points (five goals, five assists) through the first 20 postseason appearances of his young career. Last year, Stankoven made a deep postseason run with the Dallas Stars and will hope to do the same with the Hurricanes. Combined with the regular season, he has scored seven goals and 11 points in 20 games since moving to Raleigh.

After missing a pair of contests already this week, it's been confirmed that Foegele isn't expected to make a quick return. The 30-year-old has spent time in the top six this season and has amassed four points (one goal, three assists) in 13 games. The Senators have also lost Andre Burakovsky (lower body) for at least three weeks, giving Xavier Bourgault and Philip Tomasino a chance to make their season debuts in Saturday's matchup with San Jose. Tomasino was on the second line and recorded an assist, but he logged only 12:10 of ice time, so fantasy managers shouldn't get excited.

Edmonton Oilers left wing Isaac Howard (knee) won't be in action on Sunday against the New York Rangers, Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press reports. The 22-year-old injured his knee in Saturday's win over the Islanders. While Howard's injury isn't as serious as initially feared, he will sit out at least one game. Howard has had a limited role with the Oilers, averaging 8:53 of ice time. He has contributed one goal and two assists. His first chance to return will be Tuesday against New Jersey. Filip Hallander is expected to fill in for Howard on Sunday, but he's been anonymous offensively since joining the team on Oct. 7 and isn't a recommended fantasy target.

Sean Durzi Day-to-Day After Missing Saturday's Practice
New York Rangers defenseman Sean Durzi (undisclosed) is day-to-day, The Athletic's Peter Baugh reports. Durzi is banged up and has recently taken regular maintenance days. He's been in the lineup for every game so far in 2026-27 but might be forced to miss Sunday's contest against Edmonton. In 14 outings, Durzi has recorded five points (two goals, three assists), 12 SOG, and 21 blocks. Braden Schneider (illness) is also day-to-day, so the Rangers may need to make several changes to their blue line on Sunday. The team recalled Matthew Robertson from the minors on Saturday, adding another defensive option. Scott Morrow is also available to enter the lineup.

Tampa Bay Lightning right wing Nikita Kucherov isn't interested in re-signing with the team and would like to be traded, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. Sources have told Friedman that Kucherov has informed his teammates and the organization that he's seeking a change of scenery. The reigning MVP is in the final season of an eight-year, $76-million contract. Just a few days ago, Kucherov became the Lightning's all-time leading scorer. He has spent his entire 13-year career in Tampa Bay, recording 1,139 points (405 goals, 734 assists) in 891 games. Kucherov has averaged at least a point per game in nine consecutive seasons. At 33, he should still have plenty left in the tank, and many clubs will likely be interested in acquiring him.

Josh Manson to Miss Eight Weeks With Ankle Injury
Colorado Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson (ankle) is expected to miss eight weeks, head coach Jared Bednar said Friday. The veteran blue-liner, who has recorded a team-high 28 hits, suffered an ankle injury in Wednesday's win over New Jersey. Manson has four points (one goal, three assists) in 13 games this season. Colorado will bring Noah Juulsen into the lineup as Manson's replacement. Juulsen is similar to Manson but less productive. Colton Parayko Probable for Saturday
St. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko (upper body) missed Friday's practice but is probable for Saturday's game against Detroit. "Just cautionary," Blues head coach Jim Montgomery said. "Just giving him a little more rest. Probable is the way I would list him. Just upper-body. We'll just see how it feels and looks tomorrow when he does his stretching and stuff like that."
