Leonard Fournette Doesn’t Practice Again Tuesday
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette (ankle) was a non-participant at practice Tuesday for the second consecutive day, with head coach Bruce Arians saying that Fournette is likely “a game-time decision” for Thursday versus the Bears. Fournette’s absence would pave the way for Ronald Jones II to once again see a considerable workload, especially with LeSean McCoy (ankle) also not practicing for each of the last two days. Despite playing a limited number of snaps when healthy, Fournette has carved out a solid role for Tampa Bay. But combining his matchup versus a stout Bears Defense with the fact that he is entering play severely banged up, it makes him essentially a non-entity when it comes to fantasy for Thursday’s contest.
