Leo Komarov Undergoes MRI On Injured Leg
7 years agoToronto Maple Leafs forward Leo Komarov underwent an MRI on Friday to determine the severity of his lower-body injury. Komarov sustained the injury in Toronto’s 5-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night when he collided with a fellow Leaf and was unable to put weight on his leg on his way to the dressing room. The left winger was playing on Toronto’s second line with forwards Patrick Marleau and Nazem Kadri, producing nicely with four points in the five games prior to Thursday’s match. Consider Komarov day-to-day ahead of the Maple Leafs next game on Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens, and expect an update on his status over the next few days.
