LeBron James Records His First 20-20 Game
2 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James produced his first career 20-20 game in Monday's 117-111 overtime win against Memphis, scoring 22 points and grabbing 20 rebounds. Playing in his 1691st career game, regular season and playoffs combined, LeBron secured the achievement with an offensive rebound with 1:36 left in overtime. He also had seven assists and two blocks in the game, although the NBA's all-time leading scorer struggled with his shooting a bit, going 8-for-18 from the field with a 1-for-7 effort from deep. James is now averaging 24.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.0 steals in the series, which isn't bad for an "old" guy.
