Lance McCullers Jr. Out Until September With Forearm Strain
Houston Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. (forearm) has a muscle strain in his forearm and likely won't pitch again until September. This is relatively good news as McCullers left his last start early due to injury and pointed to his elbow as he left. The Astros will be very cautious with McCullers and we may end up seeing a late September return as opposed to early. He holds a 3.93 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and a K/BB of 138/50 in 126 innings this year. Owners should prepare for a long stretch without McCullers.
