Kyrie Irving Scores Just Three Points
6 years agoBoston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving’s rough start to the season continued on Saturday night against the Detroit Pistons. Irving scored just three points, on 1-for-5 shooting, and 1-of-1 from three-point range. He did a modest job getting other stats though, with seven rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one block. Irving has been terrible this season, with Saturday being his worst game yet. It's been tough for him to juggle incorporating all the Celtics new pieces into a revamped offense and getting his own rhythm back. However, Irving has been one of the most consistent players in fantasy, so it's only a matter of time before the scintillating scorer gets his groove back. He’ll look to improve on his 14.0 points-per-game average on Tuesday night, in a rematch against the Pistons.
