Kyle Seager Hitting .170 Since All-Star Break
6 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager's season continues to spiral out of control. He is slashing only .170/.224/.307 over his last 153 at-bats and is currently in a 7-for-51 (.137) rut over his last 15 games. The veteran slugger is having his worst season as a pro and his lack of plate discipline is easy to point to as the culprit. After drawing between 52-68 walks per season from 2013-17, Seager has only 32 free passes in 526 at-bats this season. Add a career-low .238 BABIP to the mix and Seager has been a gigantic fantasy disappointment this season. He is on pace for 23 home runs and 81 runs batted in but a .265 on-base percentage has made Seager unattractive in most fantasy formats.
