Kyle Schwarber Slugs 21st Home Run
Kyle Schwarber smacked his 21st home run of the season in the team's 7-2 victory against the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. The 431-foot solo shot off right-hander Ben Brown was Schwarber's lone hit during a 1-for-3 afternoon, though he did pick up a walk, a stolen base, and an additional run scored. While Schwarber has gotten off to a horrid start in June (5-for-38 with 18 strikeouts and five walks), he's still hitting a prolific .246/.377/.544 with 47 RBI and 48 runs in 300 plate appearances. As a bonus for fantasy managers, the 32-year-old has stolen five bases and is on pace for just the second season of double-digit steals in his career.
