2 years agoKyle Larson draws the 12th position after metrics for the Coca-Cola 600. That may not be a bad thing for the No. 5 car. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing car may not lead quite as many laps. However, the 400-lap Charlotte race will give him ample opportunities. After all, Larson has led 48.4% of the laps in his past two appearances. That includes the 2021 wire-to-wire win where the No. 5 car led 327 laps in all. Larson's Chevy even led 51 laps and moved up 27 positions last year despite a bevy of issues.
