8/7:Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Kyle Freeland continued his improbable season on Monday by throwing seven shutout innings against Pittsburgh. Freeland is now carrying a 3.04 ERA in 139 innings this season, and his five strikeouts brought his season total to 110. Advanced metrics aren't a huge fan of Freeland since his strikeout rate is depressed and he's reliant on an astronomical strand rate of 82%, so fantasy owners should still be wary. It wouldn't be surprising for Freeland to crash and burn at any moment.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
