Konnor Griffin continued to dominate at Double-A. On Friday evening, facing Harrisburg, Griffin went 3-for-5 with two home runs. These were his first two home runs at the level. This performance extended his current hitting streak to five games. Through his first nine games at the Double-A level, the top-ranked prospect in the sport on MLB.com has looked quite comfortable, boasting a .353/.429/.559 slash line with a .988 OPS. Earlier in the campaign, Griffin spent time with both Low-A and High-A and flashed immense upside there as well. Through 101 total games split between the lower ranks, Griffin posted a .332/.414/.524 line with a strong .937 OPS. Given his quick rise through the Pittsburgh system, Griffin could compete for his MLB debut as early as 2026.
