Kirk Cousins Falls Flat In Season Finale
7 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins had an awful game to close out the 2017 season, completing 20 of 37 passes for just 158 yards and three interceptions. He did rush for a 12-yard touchdown but couldn't get anything going in the passing game. It was the wrong time for Cousins to hit a sour note, as he heads into free agency looking for a monster contract. We wouldn't bet on this performance hurting his bottom line too much, but it was definitely a setback for his brand that came at the worst possible time. It was the second straight season that Cousins closed out with a crushing loss to the New York Giants.
