Kent Bazemore 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard/small forward Kent Bazemore was brought to Portland in the offseason in a trade with the Hawks that sent Even Turner to Atlanta. The Blazers brought Bazemore in just in case Rodney Hood decided to skip town after a strong postseason run. Hood resigned, now the Blazers have some nice depth on the wing. Bazemore could easily start and if given consistent minutes, we know Bazemore has shown to be an above-average fantasy asset. He can fill up stat sheets with great emphasis on defensive categories (1.9 stocks last season). His downfall has been his efficiencies as he has been just a 41.9% shooter from the floor over his career. It is quite hard to say his exact role and minutes this season, but if he does stay healthy, we could see Bazemore once again post top-90 player numbers. This makes him a speculation pick in the later rounds across all formats.
